About Us
The centre has been open since 1987. Four of us work here at present.
Stella KingStella King
Qualified in 1984 at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa,and has completed two years post graduate training there and two years with John and Angela Hicks on their TCM Integration Course. Since 1994 she has been on the faculty at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading where she teaches regularly.
Alison WestAlison West
Qualified in 1982 at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa and has been in practice in Todmorden ever since. She has done five further years of training; three at the College in Leamington, and two with John & Angela Hicks on their TCM Integration Course.
Annie RotheramAnnie Rotheram
Qualified in 1985 at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, and went on to do Journal of Chinese Medicine Course in London. Practising in Scotland until moving to Todmorden in 1998, she also work part time at Salford university as a clinic supervisor.
Jo HallJo Hall
Qualified in 2005 at the University of Salford with a First Class Bsc Honours in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture). She is committed to combining the best of traditional practice with modern developments and continues to undertake further postgraduate training. She also has her own practice.
We are members of the British Acupuncture Council, and are registered with Calderdale Council.
The Centre is in the centre of Todmorden close to trains, buses and car-parking. It has adequate (though not perfect) wheelchair access, but the W.C. is not accessible by wheelchair.
